“I can’t do this anymore.”
“It’s never going to change around here.”
“No one appreciates my hard work.”
Do any of these statements sound familiar?
Unfortunately, these are well-used expressions that find their way into all levels of management and in companies across the country. More importantly, they are symptoms of avoidance-seeking leaders that end up producing—at best—the bare minimum of what is required.
